About MPowered Community Services
At MPowered Community Services, our mission is to empower individuals—especially veterans—to achieve lasting transformation by addressing the mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of their lives. As a veteran-founded nonprofit, we understand firsthand the challenges that come with service, transition, and the invisible weight many carry long after their time in uniform.
Founded by Dr. Rebecca Anderson and Mr. Lee Anderson, both Army veterans, MPowered Community Services was created out of a deep commitment to serve others with integrity, compassion, and purpose. Our lived experience, combined with professional training, allows us to provide support that is both practical and deeply relational.
We are dedicated to creating a consistent and supportive environment where individuals are not left to navigate life’s challenges alone. Through our weekly group sessions, we foster connection, accountability, and community—providing a safe space for individuals to share, grow, and develop tools that can be applied in everyday life.
In addition to group support, we offer one-on-one counseling and coaching designed to address deeper emotional and mental health needs. Our trauma-informed approach helps individuals process past experiences, improve emotional regulation, and build a strong foundation for long-term healing and growth.
A central part of our mission is our commitment to veteran suicide prevention. We recognize that many veterans face challenges related to trauma, transition, and loss of identity. Our programs focus on early intervention, meaningful connection, and restoring a sense of purpose—ensuring that no veteran feels alone or without support.
At MPowered Community Services, we believe healing is possible, purpose can be restored, and lives can be rebuilt. Our mission is not only to support individuals in difficult seasons but also to equip them with the structure, tools, and relationships needed for lasting transformation.
